TranX-140 Transponder: The TranX-140 timing transponder is designed specifically for rental kart facilities and operates in conjunction with an activated timing loop, so that it requires no charging or maintenance. Simply mount it to the kart’s frame with supplied hose clamps, and it is ready to go. Each time it passes the Start / Finish line, the transponder transmits its unique ID and is recorded by the timing system. The transponder’s electronics have been specially designed to withstand the shocks and vibrations common in rental karting, and it's backed by MYLAPS's 2-year warranty.

TranX-3 Decoder: As the heart of the TranX system, the TranX-3 Decoder box receives transponder data from the track (known as passings), and in turn sends the data to the timing computer via a RS-232 Serial (convertible to USB) or 10/100 Ethernet connection. Compact and portable, the TranX-3 Decoder is easily moved as required. Like all MYLAPS equipment, the TranX-3 Decoder undergoes extensive testing prior to being shipped, to ensure 100% reliability.

Active Detection Loop: The detection loop is the antenna that picks up transponder passings and transmits them to the Decoder box. Comprised of two thin copper wires embedded in the track’s surface, it reliably scores each lap. The activated loop allows for use of sealed transponders and eliminates the need for transponder recharging, greatly simplifying scoring process for day-to-day fleet use.

RentiX Software: RentiX facilitates simple race operation and gets everybody involved in the live race action, providing real-time results and standings as well as printouts for customers once they're done racing. More than just race-management software, RentiX also provides valuable data such as number of laps per kart and total operation time, which can be used for kart maintenance schedules and figures for revenue analysis.

Speed Sheet Timing (available separately) has recognized the specific needs that entertainment facilities have in regard to complete customer-management solutions. Speed Sheet software works in conjunction with RentiX to fully integrate Point-Of-Sale / Inventory, Driver Check-In, Timing & Scoring, and Mechanic's Garage systems, and allows you to monitor the critical aspects of your facility's operation online or from your cel phone.
